In light of the temperature and heat index forecasted for this weekend and out of concern for both volunteer and participant safety, we have made the decision to postpone this Saturday’s Colonial World Nature Conservation Day BioBlitz.
We are very disappointed that we have to cancel and apologize to anyone who was looking forward to this as much as we were - the weather just isn’t on our side.
We have reached out to the park service to ask if we could reschedule and will let you know if we are able to find a day in September or October that works.
