About the Course

Conservation landscaping modifies the visible features of turf grass areas or bare soils, to an area of land that incorporates environmentally sensitive design, low impact development, native plants, and/or integrated pest management. All conservation landscaping practices include meadows, mixed planting beds, tree plantings, filter strips, and riparian buffers. This course discusses the eligibility requirements, information about native plants, and the overall benefits of conservation landscaping.
